Apple launches new ‘Today at Apple’ website for stores worldwide

Apple is revamping its efforts to keep customers educated on
all of its platforms today with the launch of a new website
called ‘Today at Apple.’

The new sub site
provides Apple fans with portal that shows all of the events,
classes and other happenings at local Apple stores, giving
users an easy way to sign up for the 4,000 sessions held across
the globe each day.

Apple debuted the Today at Apple
program with its flagship Union Square store in San Francisco.
Until now, that city was the only one that had access to the

music, coding, design and more. Everyone from beginners to
expert users will find something useful in the classes that are
usually taught in store by an Apple employee. Larger stores

Apple’ is one of the ways we’re evolving our experience to
better serve local customers and entrepreneurs,” said Apple
retail VP Angela Ahrendts when
the program was announced
. “We’re creating a modern-day
town square, where everyone is welcome in a space where the
best of Apple comes together to connect with one another,
discover a new passion, or take their skill to the next level.
We think it will be a fun and enlightening experience for
everyone who joins.”

The type
and frequency of sessions varies depending on a store’s
location and foot traffic. Special programs are also available
for families and educators, such as Teacher Tuesday which
instructs educators on how to incorporate technology into their
